FAQ
HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY?
Coaching and therapy are different in their goals, methods, and focus. Therapy is intended to help people recover from emotional or psychological disorders, while coaching is intended to help normal, healthy individuals achieve personal goals. Therapy is more emotion-based and looks into emotional resolutions to past problems, while coaching is a solution-focused, goal-oriented approach that starts with assessing the current reality and creating an action plan for the future. Therapy is often long-term, slower, and more reflective, while coaching is usually short-term, faster-paced, and more direct.
